1. Things 3

The best app to help you get shit done! I have been using things 3 as my daily task manager for a couple of years now, and after trying out numerous apps, This one is the best out there. Set up lists of the things you want to achieve on that day, or set up future tasks via the upcoming tab. They have a Mac and an iPad app which you can sync together. The apps are a little bit costly, but I can't recommend them enough to help you manage and get tasks done.

2. Timepage

TimePage is a beautiful alternative to the Apple calendar built into your iPhone and is designed by Moleskine. The design of this app is so visually pleasing. My favourite feature is being able to swipe left or right to see a month view, year view or day to day view. TimePage is my calendar of choice, and I recommend giving it a go.

3. WhatsApp For Business

Did you know WhatsApp have a completely separate business app to the standard version? The way I use WhatsApp for business is by using a local number which diverts to my mobile phone, set up via AirLandline. So instead of giving your personal mobile number out, you can use your business number and chat via WhatsApp for business. This allows me to keep my personal number and messages separate from my business messages via the two apps. Game Changer! If you have any questions on how to set this up, send me a DM!

4. Notes

Did you know you can scan documents through the notes app on your iPhone?

  • Open Notes

  • Create a new Note

  • Tap on the camera icon.

  • Select scan documents

  • Take a picture of the document with the camera

  • Press save when you are happy

  • Share as a PDF via email or text

5. Forest

Forest is an extremely fun app which helps you keep focused and present when doing work. When you want to stay focused, you open the app, set a timer and plant a virtual tree. Your tree will grow as long as you don't exit the app. If you leave the app, your tree will die. The whole aim of the app is to keep you from getting distracted by your phone when you need to be focused. The fun part is that you can grow a beautiful forest while working hard and staying focused. Not only is the app fun, but it also rewards your productivity by earning virtual coins which can then be used to plant real trees around the world. Amazing!

All of these apps are available through the iOS app store! Let me know if you try any of them out!
