Update
In April 2025 I donated my thermal drone to the amazing Community Rescue Service in Northern Ireland. In the picture with me is Sean McCarry, the founder of CRS, accepting the donation!
Due to work commitments and things getting a lot busier with See See, I haven’t been able to get out as much with the drone and that’s why I have decided to donate it
Back in 2023 I decided to fundraise to help purchase a thermal drone and I was able to raise over £7000 in 24 hours thanks to a bunch of amazing people and local businesses. This all came about after being asked to help out in the search for two local people in the space of 6 weeks. One of those searches was for Matthew McCallan who sadly passed away. I wanted to mention Matthew here as this drone is dedicated to him ❤️
With teams all over Northern Ireland and a newly formed Omagh team - the drone will be getting used weekly in searches for missing people all over Northern Ireland ❤️
Over the last 2 years, the drone has also helped locate Dogs, Cows and Sheep, and it’s been amazing helping out on these searches! 🐕 🐮 🐑
Thank you so much to everyone who donated and helped me purchase the drone - I’ll always appreciate the support that was shown to me at that time ❤️

My Story
When I first got my drone license in 2019 I wanted to be able to expand the services that I offered to local businesses and help my own business stand out from the crowd. After getting my license I quickly realised that drones can offer so much more than just a business service. I quickly signed up to help out as a volunteer for the Facebook group Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK and have been out on numerous local rescue attempts for trying to find lost pets.
By the end of 2022 and after being asked to assist in the search for two different missing people, I realised that I needed to try and get a thermal drone. In December 2022 I decided to start a fundraiser to help purchase a DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise drone. The Target was £5,500 and in just over 24 hours I ended up hitting the goal. I was blown away by the support and love of the local community and I am so delighted to be able to volunteer my time in the search for someone.
