Drone SAR For Lost Dogs

When starting to revise for my official drone license and Permission For Commercial Operations, I came across an amazing community and Facebook group called Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK.

Drone SAR For Lost Dogs UK was set up with the aim of using drones to help find missing dogs.

It has grown rapidly over the past 18 months, it now has over 900 volunteer pilots across the UK and has assisted with over 1500 missing dogs!

I decided to join up and help out this amazing community of people and drone pilots. Now as a fully qualified drone pilot I am very proud to be apart of the group.

I have a massive love for dogs. I’ve grown up around them, and nothing can beat the wag of a dogs tail when they see you. The thought of losing a dog is extremely tough and worrying, so being able to offer up my time and flying skills to help relocate a lost dog is an absolute pleasure.
